Anas Musah is a Lecturer and Research Scientist in the Department of Computer Science at ReCAS. He possesses a strong background in mathematics and computing. Anas is driven by a long-term goal to share knowledge with others, which has led him to pursue a PhD in Scientific Computing and Industrial Modelling at NIMS-KNUST. His expertise lies in optimization, differential equations, programming, and their applications in biomathematics, dynamical systems, machine learning, and vehicle routing problems. Consequently, he has conducted research on various topics, including disease modelling and the optimization of a fleet of vehicles for solid waste collection.
Anas Musah is passionate about utilizing software development to solve problems and implement effective solutions. When he is not immersed in development and building innovative solutions, he enjoys spending his time on YouTube, expanding his knowledge, watching movies, and going for a jog. However, most of his days are dedicated to working on projects while listening to calming Quranic recitations in the background.
Anas possesses extensive hands-on experience in utilizing data analysis software such as SPSS, R, and Python. He is also proficient in academic writing software like Mendeley and LaTeX. In addition, he is skilled in several programming languages, including Python, Matlab, Java (Android), C, and C++.
Beyond his technical expertise, Anas is a firm believer in mentoring students and actively engaging in community service. He passionately advocates for the intellectual growth of young minds in STEM fields, recognizing the importance of nurturing and supporting the next generation.
