Alhaji Amuda Jimah Mohammed, has worked with the Ibadan Polytechnic Library for over thirteen (13) years, the Ghana Library Authority Schools and College Department and finally with the University for Development Studies (UDS) Library for twenty (20) years where he retired as a Senior Assistant Librarian. He was then given a post retirement contract for four (4) years to mentor and share his rich experience with young professionals in the field. Presently he has been appointed as the College Librarian/ Library Consultant, Trinity Library, Regentropfen University College, Kansoe-Namoo Bongo Upper East Region.
He holds an MA Information Studies, BA integrated Development Studies and a Diploma in Librarianship.
He is an intelligent man who is extremely passionate about his work. He is focused, diligent, result oriented and take his work very seriously. For the number of years he worked with the university he had always demonstrated good ethics and interpersonal skills.
Mr. Amuda set up community libraries, and organized reading clinics for basic schools in Tamale Metro, Savulugu/Nanton and Tolon Districts of the Northern Region.
He is already familiar with the academic environment and would be able to cope with the challenges of the College.
