DETAILS OF SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION
INTRODUCTION
The two-hour paper will be made up of 100 multiple choice questions covering topics in the following subject areas;
- Core Mathematics (40 questions)
- English Language (40 questions)
- General Knowledge (20 questions)
Each question will carry one (1) mark and the entire examination will last for two (2) hours. Proposed date and time for the exams are as follows;
Date of First Scholarship Exams: 23rd July 2022 Time: 10:00 am – 12:00pm
Date of Second Scholarship Exams: 06th August 2022 Time: 10:00 am – 12:00pm
Candidates wishing to participate in the first scholarship exams must submit their forms to the registry on or before 18th July 2022. All other applications coming in after this date will be considered for the second scholarship exams.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT
- To offer as many as 500 students various forms of scholarship to study in ReCAS
- To set the pace for the establishment of the ReCAS Scholarship Fund for the purpose of sustaining the scholarship project.
- To train beneficiaries on various educational disciplines with the aim of preparing them for the job market.
- To prepare Regentropfen College of Applied Sciences ahead of the charter process in 2024.
- To train brilliant but needy students across the country.
- To identify and promote talents of the less privileged through education.
- Our contribution towards the development of the economy considering the long-term effect of education to individuals.
QUALIFICATION
- Any Ghanaian with SSSCE or WASSCE or GCE or diploma from a recognized institution is qualified to apply.
- Any International Student with WASSCE, GCE, SSCE, BAC, Diploma or its equivalence from a recognised institution can apply.
- Holders of diploma or HND certificates can also participate.
- Individuals who are 25 years or above can also apply.
NOTE: All qualified applicants will be contacted to pay an amount of GHC20 to register for the exams.

The following are the approved examination centres for the scholarship exams and candidates are required to be seated thirty minutes before the start time (10:00 am).

NOTE: The pass mark for a participant to get scholarship is 55%.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES
Beneficiaries of any of the scholarship packages listed above will be required to abide by the follow roles in order to enjoy scholarship for the entire duration (i.e. two years for diploma or four years for degree)
- Maintain a good GPA of 2.5 (Second class lower) or better for each semester.
- Pass all courses in each semester
- Attend all lectures without fail. Where there is the need for a beneficiary to absent him/her self, the scholarship secretariat should be notified.
- Participate fully in all College activities where required.
- Beneficiaries must be of good behaviour at all times. Any beneficiary who misconducts him/her self will have the scholarship withdrawn with immediate effect.
