Profile

Mr. Abiola Adeniyi is a member of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals, USA (IICFIP) and an academic professional in the sphere of business at the ReCAS. He is the acting Dean of Students and the programmes coordinator for the Department of Business Studies (DBS). He has facilitated in number of training programmes in Ghana and online. Specifically, he has trained officials in the services (Police, Fire Service and Immigration) on professional time management, personal branding and communication across the Upper East Region of Ghana. He has also facilitated training programmes for craftsmen/women in the region on social media marketing and small business management. He initiated a ‘Research Bootcamp’ that sought to train students, academics and researchers on statistical analysis (Excel, SPSS, STATA, E-VIEWS and Smart-PLS) and data management (Mendeley). With his extensive knowledge in business analytics, Abiola contributed to a team of professionals who designed a weekly presentation on entrepreneurship forum for the Business and Career Development Centre (BCDC) for ReCAS.

To the sharpen his professional acumen, Mr Adeniyi has been through series of workshops/webinars. Some of which include: workshops/webinars on computerised accounting training softwares (Ghana); Questioned Document Examination; forensic graphology; Hands on Training in Bivariate Analysis (Institute of Management Studies, India); Research Methodology Workshop (University of Malaysia); Preventive Forensics, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU); Structural Equation Modelling using AMOS and Smart-PLS.

Academically, He has a B.A in Integrated Business Studies (Accounting) from the University for Development Studies now SD-Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS). He acquired his M.Phil. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is currently pursuing his PhD. in Business Management with specialization in forensic accounting from KNUST.

He likes to spend his leisure moments with his family. He enjoys reading and playing table tennis.

As a result of the global menace of fraud, corporate failure and other debilitating business activities, Abiola derives much enthusiasm in research in the areas of: Forensic Accounting; Corporate Governance and Islamic Banking & Economics. Presently, he teaches series of courses including research methods, Academic writing, financial accounting & reporting, financial econometrics and French.
